LGBTQ+ Communities' Apple Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop

In honour of global movements for LGBTQ+ equality, Apple is launching a watch face, dynamic wallpapers for iOS and iPadOS, and an Apple Watch Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop.

To celebrate inclusivity and diversity, the lively band known as the Apple Watch Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop was developed. Its unique, flexible shape makes it very comfortable and easy to put on and remove off the wrist.

To create the bracelet, 16,000 polyester yarn filaments are weaved around minuscule silicone threads using advanced precision-braiding machinery. After that, the strap is precisely laser-cut to the desired length for a customised fit. It has a velvety, textured feel and is resistant to perspiration and water.

The Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop comes in two sizes that will fit most Apple Watches.

Inspired by the power, beauty, and inclusivity of Pride, Apple is happy to support organisations that advocate for LGBTQ people.

Summary: The Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop strap is very comfortable and easy to put on and take off your wrist thanks to its unique elastic structure. It incorporates the Pride flag's colours. The strap was made by weaving 16,000 polyester yarn filaments around minuscule silicone threads using advanced precision-braiding technology. The finished product was then laser-cut to the exact size required for each wearer. The silky, textured strap feels good and is resistant to water and perspiration.

Apple is proud to support and work towards positive change with a number of LGBTQ advocacy organisations, including Encircle, Equality North Carolina, Equality Texas, Gender Spectrum, GLSEN, the Human Rights Campaign, PFLAG National, National Centre for Transgender Equality, SMYAL and The Trevor Project in the US, and ILGA World internationally.

Apple Watch Pride Edition Braided Solo Loops will be available starting on May 22. In a future update, the company will also provide dynamic wallpapers for iOS and iPadOS and a watch face that is comparable. This supports LGBTQ+ equality initiatives worldwide. The Pride watch face and wallpapers may now showcase the vibrant and varied hues of LGBTQ+ groups after being modified.

Apple is a significant supporter of progressive LGBTQ+ advocacy groups. Advocates for LGBTQ+ rights around the world include ILGA World and the Human Rights Campaign. Encircle, Equality Federation, Equality North Carolina, Equality Texas, GLSEN, PFLAG, SMYAL, and The Trevor Project are all supported by Apple.

Inspired by multiple pride flags, the Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop honours the bravery and beauty of the LGBTQ+ community with a colourful design. There's also a laser-etched lug with the words "PRIDE 2024" on it. The colours pink, light blue, and white are associated with those who identify as transgender or nonbinary, while the colours black and brown are associated with populations of African, Hispanic, and Latino heritage as well as those who have been impacted by HIV/AIDS.

The new Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop watch features a vibrant, neon design that was inspired by multiple pride flags and symbolises the beauty and strength of the LGBTQ+ community. Pride Radiance watch faces can also be customised with an assortment of hues.

With the release of the Pride Radiance watch face and iOS and iPadOS wallpapers, a powerful and noteworthy hue is added to the Apple Watch, Apple iPhone, and iPad.

The light beams that pile on top of one another over a black background represent the long-lasting effects of LGBTQ+ action for future equality. They provide LGBTQ+ groups with support, friendship, and optimism.

Create your watch face and backdrop by selecting from a variety of colours. Based on the gyroscope, the colours of the Apple Watch follow each digit on the watch display and adjust in real time to wrist movement. Dynamic beams of colour that spell out the word "Pride" move as the user unlocks their iPhone or iPad. In the near future, watchOS 10.5, iOS 17.5, and iPad software 17.5 will all support the new Pride Radiance watch face and wallpaper.
