Kingston introduces the DC2000B NVMe enterprise SSD for data centers.
The latest SSD in a data center A high-performance PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, the Kingston DC2000B is intended for use as internal boot drives in high-volume rack-mount systems. Kingston Technology's flash memory subsidiary is Kingston Digital Europe Co LLP.
The DC2000B's 112-layer 3D TLC NAND and the newest Gen 4×4 PCIe interface make it perfect for internal server boot drive applications and purpose-built systems applications that demand great performance and dependability. The Kingston DC2000B has on-board hardware-based power loss protection (PLP), a data security feature that is rare on M.2 SSDs. It also features a new integrated aluminum heatsink to offer broad thermal compatibility across a variety of system configurations.
"Whitebox server manufacturers and Tier 1 server OEMs continue to equip their latest generation servers with M.2 sockets for boot purposes as well as internal data caching," said Tony Hollingsbee, SSD business manager at Kingston EMEA. The performance and write endurance required to manage a range of high duty cycle server workloads were built into the DC2000B.Moving the boot drives inside the server preserves the important front loading drive bays for data storage.
The well-known Kingston dependability, free technical support, and a limited five-year guarantee all support the Kingston DC2000B. It has capacities of 240GB, 480GB, and 960GB.
NVMe M.2 SSD DC2000B PCIe 4.0
Enterprise-class server applications
With the latest Gen 4×4 PCIe interface and 112-layer 3D TLC NAND, the Kingston DC2000B is a high-performance PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. Ideal for use as an internal boot drive or drives to preserve costly front-loading drive bays in systems designed specifically to use a high-performance M.2 SSD with hardware-based on-board power loss protection (PLP) and high-volume rack-mount servers. Greater thermal compatibility for a range of applications is offered by the Kingston DC2000B's new integrated aluminum heatsink. The DC2000B offers low latency and outstanding IO consistency to handle a variety of workloads, such as boot drive applications and high-speed application caching. The Kingston DC2000B has a 0.4 DWPD write endurance rating and a five-year guarantee.PCIe 4.0 NVMe Gen 4x4 Performance
