MP700 ELITE PCIe 5.0 SSDs are now immediately available, according to CORSAIR. New drives provide next-generation storage technology with excellent performance and dependability at a reduced cost.
The sophisticated PCIe 5.0 x4 controller of the MP700 ELITE can read and write data at consecutive rates of 10,000 and 8,500 MB/sec.The computer experience will be enhanced by this performance increase, which will speed up file transfers, game loading, and boot times.
The High-Density 3D TLC NAND in the MP700 ELITE series provides the perfect mix of performance and robustness, guaranteeing your system will function flawlessly for many years to come. Because these drives are compatible with Microsoft DirectStorage, they can communicate directly with your graphics card, improving performance and speeding up game loading times.
Utilizing the compact M.2 2280 form factor, the MP700 ELITE is compatible with desktop motherboards and may be used in laptops with integrated motherboard cooling without a heatsink. Additionally, this state-of-the-art technology is backward compatible with both PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 3.0 platforms, allowing a wide range of users to benefit from it. Maximum throughput is offered by PCIe 5.0 systems, such as AMD's or Intel's 800-series.
CORSAIR's commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction is shown by the MP700 ELITE series, which includes a comprehensive five-year warranty and the CORSAIR SSD Toolbox software for advanced drive control.
CORSAIR MP700 ELITE: All the Information You Need
The MP700 ELITE is CORSAIR's most current SSD. As the name may imply, this PCIe 5.0 SSD uses the most recent technology to provide exceptional throughput rates, much like the MP700 PRO and MP700 PRO SE. Unlike earlier drives, this one isn't designed to provide the best performance possible.
Rather, it is a more widely used device that sacrifices some of the most prestigious features in lieu of more affordable and easier-to-manage thermals. As a result, the MP700 ELITE doesn't need complicated cooling and can be used in a variety of devices, including laptops. You'll need a laptop that supports PCIe 5.0 SSDs if you want to get the most out of it, but having alternatives is helpful as you go.
The CORSAIR is a faster SSD than its predecessor, even if it doesn't participate in benchmark races. This speed is unmatched by even the fastest PCIe 4.0 SSDs. The sequential read and write speeds of 10,000 and 8,500 MB/s are much faster than the 7,100 and 6,800 MB/s of the MP600 PRO LPX. The MP700 ELITE is faster on PCIe 5.0, but this drive is fast on PCIe 4.0. PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 are supported by this device, however only 5.0 optimizes throughput.
They must study up on this new drive family and review the specs before moving further.

ELITE Cooling MP700
As can be seen from the above chart, there are two variants of the MP700 ELITE: one with and one without a heatsink. Apart from that, there aren't many differences between them; the capacity and throughput of each model are the same. You should buy one of these based on the system you want to use it with. For instance, you will want the base drive to be devoid of a high-quality heatsink if it is going to be put in a motherboard or laptop that already has one. However, if your motherboard isn't cooling well, the MP700 ELITE with Heatsink makes sense. The MP700 ELITE with Heatsink is a large but fashionable matte black aluminum cooler that measures 80 x 23 x 18 mm. This is more than capable of keeping your drive cool under pressure. Removing heat from the SSD is just one part of the solution, therefore you will still need enough ventilation in your system. But compared to other PCIe 5.0 SSDs, the MP700 ELITE's controller only consumes an average of 6W.
Like the MP700 PRO and MP700 PRO SE, CORSAIR produced a Hydro X Series model that could be linked to your own cooling loop. We haven't done this here, however, since the drive shouldn't need such high cooling levels. However, if you still want to use the MP700 ELITE with the Hydro X Series XM2 M.2 SSD Water Block, there is nothing stopping you from doing so.
MP700 ELITE Synopsis
